You will find all classwork and homework assignments listed with due dates. Your child will also receive a daily planner that should have the same information; students will be responsible for the information in their planners on a daily basis.
PLEASE NOTE: Since parents can now access all grade information on-line, I will only send a printed progress report upon request and for mid-term progress reports. PLEASE ACCESS YOUR CHILD'S INFORMATION!!! A few things to note when reviewing online grades:
When you are reviewing specific assignments, be aware of the following "key codes" that may appear--
mi = Missing assignment (i.e., past due)
p = Pending (student has spoken with me and we've agreed upon a future date for turn in)
ab = Absent when assignment was due; student should turn in asap or upon agreed upon date with teacher
r = Received not yet graded, but has been turned in
( ) = Future assignment; not yet due
Monitoring and reviewing your child's assignment notebook DAILY is an important part of helping your student. NOTE: YOUR CHILD IS NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR WRITING ASSIGNMENTS IN THEIR NOTEBOOK/PLANNER.
